Generally melatonin is safe for short term use, however it has not been clinically tested as to whether its safe to take during pregnancy or not so I believe it's not advisable to take - because its not tested rather than because there are known terrible side effects. Having said that one or two nights is unlikely to make a huge amount of difference. Note I am not a medical professional just my own opinion!

Hi Marianna. I have not hear of any adverse eggects during IVF. If it helps you to sleep, that can only be good. Mention it to your specialist/clinic too. Good luck! Diane
