I start prepping for my FET tomorrow am and I feel really sick with nerves. It’s silly I know, but finally after 3 months post egg retrieval my moods have stabilised, and I’m dreading down regulation as people have told me if practically the menopause.
Any personal experiences of suprecur for down-regulation? Is it as bad as I’m being told?
Also, any tips on how to not take my moods out on those around me 🤪

Just take everything a step at a time The medicine causes symptoms like the menopause - hot flushes - night sweats headaches and mood swings But this eases once you start stimulating meds so just be sure to wear cotton nightwear - cool bedroom- drink plenty of fluids to help combat headaches Try relaxing techniques - breathing exercises - mindfulness- yoga - these may help with the mood changes
Re: side effects….I was dreading it all too, I’ve never really been too bad when down regging. I was thinking the worst like you but it’s not too bad. A few headaches , maybe hot flushes at night so I defo recommend drinking loads of water, min 2 litres a day .
Don’t think I was grumpy at all but my husband might disagree 😆
I wasn’t too bad on this was absolutely dreading it but thank god I haven’t been too bad.
Suffered with headaches on first injection but I had cupping and after that didn’t get them. Also had some prolonged bleeding after my period but that has now stopped. I’ve had a few times i felt a bit hot but that’s it.
Everyone reacts differently so hopefully not too bad for you either - best of luck xx
