IVF fairy

hi warriors, I know not everyone is like this, but I haven’t told any of my friends about our ivf journey as they all have children and I just think no one truly knows what we go through in this process, unless they’ve walked this path too.

I recently listened to an old episode of Emma Barnett on the happy place podcast. She said so many things that were relatable - how “hope gets you back in the casino” each round - boy how true is that?? But she mentioned having an ivf fairy; someone who can walk alongside you and pick you back up with each hurdle.

With this in mind, I thought I’d put it out there - any south Manchester women interested in being each other’s fairies? Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday. Xx

I’m also not in Manchester but think this is a lovely idea. It’s such a lonely experience and you need people who get it and get you! X

Heard this and love the idea. I'm not far from South Manchester, officially just outside in High Peak. PM if you fancy a coffee or chat ❤️

I picked up a few IVF fairies on here, ladies that I clicked with and kept in touch on WhatsApp as didn't have anyone in my area. It's a great way to support and get support going through cycles and general life challenges when you're in between treatments. We have kept in touch since too. Good luck.xxx

Hey, I've just joined this network and I know your post is 10 months old but I was just wondering if you were still on your IVF journey and looking to connect with someone? I'm in Stockport :)
