IVF medication side effects

Hi All

Im currently on Lubion, cyclogest and progynova. I started having mild back ache on IVF stims but this has got much worse since my frozen transfer and being on the above medication. has anyone had really bad and constant back ache (mainly lower) since being on IVF medication? My clinic says it can be a side effect but I’m quite worried. Thanks 😊

Hi! Have you had the FET already? Back aches were my main early pregnancy symptom after my second FET.

Hi thanks for replying 😊. I have had a positive test, which puts me at about 5 weeks now. Was your back pain constant and with cramps too? Not sure what’s the medication and what might be my body x

Wonderful news, congratulations! As far as I remember, the back ache was pretty constant and at its worst in the evenings. I had period-like cramps throughout the first trimester, which stopped as soon as I stopped the progesterone. Wishing you an easy and straight forward pregnancy!

Hi Bluebell. You are on a high dose of progesterone, so it could just be down to that. Hope all goes well for you. Diane
