When do I start Meriofert?

Hello, I’m five days into using suprecur on the long protocol (first time IVFer).

I’m expecting my period to arrive next week so I can get booked in for my baseline scan. I’m sure it’s probably slightly different for everyone but can anyone tell me roughly how long after my baseline scan I will be starting Meriofert? Also, how long do you take it for?

I’m just trying to plan my life around my treatment in an effort to keep my mind distracted.

Hi. Everyone’s treatment plans will be different. But I had my baseline scan on Cycle Day 2, and I think I started taking Meriofert that evening, and then every morning for the next 10 days. Make sure you watch a video on how to administer the injection, because it’s a tad complicated to start with! Good luck xx

Thank you that’s really handy to know. I was expecting it would be something like that but my clinic hasn’t explained it yet.

Hi mumma_in_the_making. Usually start on a Stimson drug for a few days, then switch to Meriofert for few days. I’m sure they will explain their protocol when you ask. Good luck. Di
