Bleeding post failed embryo transfer

Sadly my first embryo transfer failed following unsuccessful urine and blood pregnancy.

On the day of my first test inwoke up with a heavy period formof lumps.

It's now 12 days later and I'm still spot bleeding and need to wear a liner. It been brown for over a week now. My period is normally 2 days.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? I'm.still waiting for advice from the clinic.

Hope the clinic get back to you soon - if not keep trying Period can be heavier after treatment as the meds encourage the lining to thicken up Also sending you a big hug and make sure have people around you for support

Hi - sorry to hear your recent transfer wasn’t successful. I experienced the same after my first unsuccessful transfer. I was told it’s a common side effect of the progesterone ‘crash’. For my second transfer, I was prescribed blood thinners (daily 40mg Inhixa injections) with a view to remove any clots in my lining and aid implantation - so worth raising this as an option with your clinic!
