Pain after failed fresh transfer

Hello ladies,

Just looking for some advice pls. My OTD was 17 days ago which was negative and I had my withdrawal bleed straight away. This lasted 7 days.

Today I’ve started to get some awful lower pain, also in my ovaries. Feel like I am about to have my period.

Is this normal and was your first proper period a lot worse than normal ?

I’m currently away in Spain and dreading AF making an appearance 😩 thanks xx

Sorry to hear your still having pains sweetheart. A few of us have been discussing this and it sounds like the pain may be because your ovaries are stills swollen? I was getting stabbing pains on my right ovary, and a scan confirmed my right one is quite enlarged with fluid which they can expect to see with ivf etc it lasted about a week. Hope you manage to have a nice holiday ❤️ Xx

Ah thanks hun. Today it feels more like period pains. I just hope it happens when I get home and now out here.

I hope your well. Holiday has been just what we needed but hubby is now full of cold and I’m in pain 😩 think we both want home comfort now xx

Hopefully it holds off as its not ideal to be in pain when your on holiday. Try to have some warm baths and take some pain killers to help with the pain. Sorry to hear your both feeling rubbish :( thats never nice on holiday xx

How rubbish to be in pain on holiday. Hope it hasn't ruined it for you.

Obviously no expert but my clinic told me last week that my ovaries can still be swollen for up to 12wks after EC 😳. I've had real painful episodes in the evening and only a hot water bottle and paracetamol will ease. I really hope it's not AF whilst you are away x x x x

Thank you hun, the pain seems to have eased a bit thankfully. It’s been nice to get away but looking forward to getting home to my hot water bottle. Hope ur doing ok xx
