hey all, hope everyone is well.

I went for my monitoring scan today as egg collection is scheduled for Monday - and again, they counted 14 follicles all pretty much measuring the same as they did at this time last cycle. Last cycle we only got 6 eggs from the 14 and 1 fertilised egg - do you think I’m on track for another naff cycle or is there a chance things could be totally different this time? Your experiences are appreciated ❤️

A lot can change by Monday, everything crossed for you. I’m the opposite of you, I don’t have many follicles and need to keep the faith too xx

thank you Topguntastic, it’s exhausting sometimes isn’t it - but you’re right, need to keep the faith and the positivity, come on eggies!!

There’s every chance things will be different, especially since you’re on a different protocol. I had fewer follicles and eggs the second time, but ended up with more and better blasts by day 5. Also, you’re only at the start of your journey so even if this one is disappointing and gives similar results, there’s loads of other stuff they can try. I know that will mean more expense which isn’t ideal, but every cycle improves your chances. Rooting for you 💪🏼💪🏼 x

thank you so much piggy with your words of positivity - you’re right, every cycle no matter the outcome is a step in the right direction. Thank you. Hope you’re doing well xxxx

Things can change by Monday - give your follicles a wee pep talk ! Every cycle can and frequently is entirely different from the one before

Will be thinking of you on Monday - take care

Nope I think every cycle is different and it just depends on the eggs which come up. I thought I had a disastrous cycle with 6 follicles, 3 collected and only 1 fertilised and I was ready to give up… but that one is now by 18 month old son. But a previous cycle I had 9 eggs and nothing came of them so.. honestly it’s such a hard thing to predict but 14 follicles sounds great to me so good luck 🍀 stay positive, sounds like a good cycle to me 🤞🍀
