2nd cycle just starting, trying ICSI this time due to fertilisation issues last cycle, no embryos at all to transfer
Day 2 of my cycle today which means day 1 of stims (mild protocol). On gonal F this time instead of bemfola as consultant thinks it may aid my egg quality slightly.
Really nervous just as we didn't even get to transfer last time. Trying to stay positive and not sharing too much with family and friends this time - last cycle it hurt feeling like I was letting everyone down.
Any cycle buddies out there just starting?

I’m at the end of my stims but wanted to say hi and good luck!!! Sending you lots of positive vibes!! I’m doing gonal-f and ICIS too! I think the injection pen is great 😂 a lot easier than the syringes 💉

Aw I'm so sorry, its so hard to digest when you have to stop the cycle after egg collection. Last cycle when we found out none of ours had made it was honestly the worst phone call I've ever had, I cried for hours. Stay strong my love and as hard as it seems try and stay positive for the future. Do you know if you'll be doing another cycle? Xx

Had quite a low number of follicles develop last cycle so hoping for more after change of meds and dosage. Thanks again for your well wishes, love this network, it's so supported ❤️ xx

Cycle buddy yay! 🙂How's it going with you? I'm not that encouraged unfortunately. Day 8 of stims today. 2 scans so far and although follicles are progressing well there's only 5, 1 on my right and 4 on left. 2 on the left are small so unsure if they'll catch up, so may be looking at just 3 follicles. Last cycle got 6 eggs so can't help but think this is not going to end well 😕
Hi! Its day 7 for me, snap - 5 follicles, 4 on the right and one on the left. All small at my scan on Tuesday, but apparently that was normal for 4 days of stims. I started on the cetrotide yesterday, next scan is tomorrow. I got 3 eggs last time from 5 follicles (one made it to 5 day blast) so I'm keeping fingers crossed, I'll be over the moon is I get more than that that this time - it just takes one!! Hope you are keeping sane, I'll keep my fingers crossed yours catch up 🤞🤞

I had 3rd scan yday and I've had another 2 crop up on the right and another on the left, but nurse reckons too small to catch up which is a shame. 1 of the original 5 is lagging behind a bit too, so possibly just 3, maybe 4 will make it to desired size. I've got 1 more stim injection today and then trigger tonight. Just waiting on clinic to let me know time etc but egg collection planned for Mon. Hoping for the best and preparing for the worst 🤞
Any idea when your egg collection will be yet? How's your experience of it been in the past? I've only had 1 before and was lucky it was pretty drama free, just bit sensitive after for a few days.

Hi, I had a scan yesterday which showed 7 so I’m happy as it’s a few more than last time, I think I’m a couple of days behind you, I’ve got one more scan on Monday with EC probably Wednesday, they may ask me to do one more day depending on the scan. It’s been ok so far had a bit of a wobble last night as I messed up preparing the cetrotide and managed to cut my thumb in the process! Good luck for Monday hope it goes well and you never know those extra follicles might have a growth spurt 🤞🏻
Oh 7 is a great number, that's good news! I'm sure your scan on Monday will show they're progressing well🤞 Cetrotide is a right pain isn't it, hate the process of having to mix it etc. Sorry you hurt your thumb

Hi, how did your collection go? It sounds like you had collection this week.
We got 6 eggs and 4 were mature enough to freeze. My partner had to have a procedure this week and we got some good swimmers so our next step is arranging a meeting between the two parties and see what happens from there.
Hey, thanks for checking in, great to hear your progress! 4 is a great number and good news on the swimmers, do you have any idea when they'll get to meet? 🙂🤞I had egg collection on Monday, they retrieved 4 eggs, which I was expecting but was hoping for more. 3 were mature and 2 fertilised. They booked me in for day 3 transfer initially but called yesterday to say they were both doing OK and they would recommend waiting out to day 5. 1 showed early compaction which embryologist said was a good sign. Just hoping we've made the right call waiting until day 5 as we now run the risk of not making it to transfer again. I'm scared we'll lose them both and it will all feel like it was for nothing again. I want to get to transfer so badly but am trying to stay level headed so I don't fall too hard if it doesn't work out.
