Hi lovely ladies, I am 7weeks and 3 days pregnant. I had my second scan yesterday for the heartbeat. The baby heartbeat shows 189 beats per minute and growth is of 6 weeks and 4 days. The doctor said everything was fine and even stopped my supporting injection of HCG and progesterone.
But me being me.. I'm feeling slight nervous about the the high rate of heartbeat and baby's slow growth.
Anyone else with similar experience, please guide...

I’m in the same boat hun was suppose to be 6 weeks but I was showing 5 weeks 2 days with just a sac and start of a yolk sac in back next week for another scan, is yours natural or Ivf? I had Ivf so my dates should be more or less spot on, it’s good news that they saw a heartbeat on yours I don’t think the heartbeat was to high I’ve seen other posts with similar to yours ❤️Xx
Mine is IVF too. My 5 weeks scan had also shown sac and start of yolk sac which is similar to yours. Sending you all the positive vibes and bestest wishes for your next scan
so a nice progression in your scan that great but I can understand it’s so bloody worrying, I thought the Ivf was enough but this is torture ❤️Keep us updated 😘xx
Dates by measurement at this stage are not accurate they have a margin of error of error of around 1.2 weeks. For natural pregnancies at this stage they date them by going by the first day of your last period assuming you have a normal 28 day cycle and ovulated 2 weeks later, as this is not the case for everyone these dates are often wrong and changed at the 12 week scan (called the dating scan). With IVF you know when the egg was fertilised so you use that date and add to weeks too it and you get your due date, when they say IVF dates are more accurate they are referring to this way of dating not the measurements you get in early scans. Usually heartbeat is not seen till at least 7 weeks so good luck for next scan, try not to worry x
Ultrasounds before 12 weeks have a margin of error of 1.2 weeks so as long as your baby isn't measuring more than 1.2 weeks ahead or behind it is not an issue. They are soo small at this stage it's difficult to get an accurate measurement. 186 beats is a good strong heartbeat so that's a good sign. Also if there had been anything at all to be concerned about the doctor would of told you. X
Thanks for replying dear. Your reply comes as a sign of relief to me. I know it's probably just my head which comes up with so many thoughts that makes me so curious whether all's well or not
It's completely understandable to be anxious and think the worst its just your brains way of protecting your heart from being hurt, so don't be hard on yourself. The wait till the 12 week scan is long so try and find things to occupy your mind like binge watching something, reading a good book, try a new hobby, plan nice treats for yourself and your partner x
