UPDATE 6 wks 3 days bleed

Hi everyone,

I read everyone’s comments about holding onto hope and I’ll be honest, I didn’t. I was already moving in and preparing for the next. After a few issues with my clinic they eventually saw me and decided to do a scan, they at first wanted to do blood tests days apart again but after informing them that I have already had a scan they saw me.

The foetal pole was small but had a strong heartbeat. She found blood surrounding and suggested it may have been a threatened miscarriage. I could not believe the amount of blood I had lost and the clot and the cramps I had and the little bean was still clutching on.

She struggled to get a good view, said the baby was small but then showed me that heartbeat. I just burst out crying and I might have sworn.

My husband said I told you not to think the worst but surely anyone would naturally think that.

I am very relieved and now at 7 weeks I have very sore and big boobs, nausea on a daily basis, couldn’t even wear a polo neck jumper. All things I’m very happy about.

I just felt like I owed you all an update and I wanted to say thank you for the reassurances. Sorry I’ve been quiet! Xx

That is amazing news, so happy for you!! Yes! My friend (I know everyone has a story like this) but honestly had bleeding (so much blood) at the beg of her pregnancy, she is due next month and all is fine. Of course, you worried, who wouldn't?! but it does happen and just over the moon for you now xxx

Relief when I saw the heartbeat my partner was the same as yours. Nice knowing your not the only one going through these things x
