update on low and slow rising hcg levels

Hi! I have low and slow rising hcg levels, I went for my 6 week scan today and they have seen the sac and the baby measuring at 1.7mm which is good for 6 weeks pregnant, I still have low hcg levels of 450, they went from 19 to 64 to 103 to 153 to 272 to 450, so there is always hope with low and slow rising hcg levels, I had these low and slow rising hcg levels when I was pregnant with my son 20 years ago so I'm not worried, I go back next week on Monday and Thursday for blood test to check my hcg levels and another scan next Friday to check the heartbeat as it was to small to see today, I just thought I would let all the lovely ladies know so you can have some hope if your in my situation xx

What super news, Asha! I was looking out for an update from you, I am so pleased your scan went as well as it could and given your pregnancy history with your son let's really hope it will repeat itself and you will see the heartbeat next Friday! Thank you so much, I'm so happy and I strongly believe ii will see the heartbeat next Friday, my ivf doctor is happy with the scan and the progress especially because i had the same thing with my son, they actually saw the fetal pole today which made me so happy knowing it's not a empty sac xx

Hi! I'm just updating you, my hcg levels are rising a lot slower now, they went from 451 on Friday to 570 today, I'm so scared that they might not see a heartbeat on Friday or that I might miscarry, it's such a scary time and very stressful xx

Oh my lovely, I am so sorry to hear this, I can completely understand why you are worried out of your mind, I would feel the same. The waiting is such agony, my heart goes out to you. You could get another hCG test in the meantime to feel better prepared come Friday? Oh Asha, you have been so incredible in believing in your embryos to stay with you, you are such a strong Mama. I pray you will find the strength to keep going until Friday, the news may not be what your heart and soul so very much long for, you must be feeling so exhausted from this ongoing uncertainty. I am thinking of you, my lovely! xx

Thank you so much I really appreciate it, I'm finding it very hard but also staying positive as I also had really low hcg levels when i was pregnant with my son 20 years ago, if I heartbreakingly lose this baby then I still have 4 good quality embryo's so it won't be over yet but I have lots of faith in this little one, the doctors were very happy with the scan last Friday as the sac and the fetal pole is measuring perfect for 6 weeks pregnant and they said it was just to small to see the heartbeat and they told me that the heartbeat starts between 6-7 weeks of pregnancy xxx

Thank you I really appreciate it, I still have to keep an eye out just in case the other embryo is ectopic but the doctor said it's very unlikely because I had 2 embryo's transferred, but the worrying never ends especially when my left arm is feeling heavy and dead but apparently that can be normal in early pregnancy xx

I’m no doctor but I know you’ve had a bleed a couple of weeks ago, this would very likely be the other embryo passing (talking from experience). Keeping everything crossed your sticky embie does well xxx

Thank you I really appreciate it, I asked my doctor that yesterday and he said no that bleeding I had was implantation bleeding but my shoulder pain went away and hasn't come back xxx

so sorry you’re going through this. As stressful/upsetting as it is, try to stay positive and I personally would be grateful that the sac was in the right place because ectopics are awful, so at least you could rule that out.

Thursday isn’t too long now (although I know the wait is still awful) so keeping everything crossed you’ll get more clarity then xxx

they’re not very kind on the phone, are they? At least in my experience they’ve been very blunt, so that doesn’t help.

Thank you so much, I hope you hear the heartbeat, I have my scan on Friday, I have my blood test today and Thursday to check my hcg levels, I hope everything turns out amazing for both of us, they told me the fetal pole is to small to hear the heartbeat most times at 6 weeks❤️

at 6 weeks exactly my hcg was at 3800 the doctor said it is on the low side my sac was measuring 7.2 mm which is 3 days behind he said and he said there is a yolk sac so i don’t now what to feel hoping for the best for both of us keep us updated ❤️❤️❤️

My level at 6 weeks was only 450 which is extremely low but the doctor is really happy with the scan as they saw the sac yolk sac and the fetal pole measuring 1.7mm which is really good for 6 weeks but with very low levels❤️❤️❤️

If they said they saw the sac and the yolk sac that's a really good sign, maybe your not as far long in your pregnancy as you thought, I think everything will be ok❤️❤️❤️

how far are you today?? And did you speak to the doctor if there’s a sac and also a yolk sac and they were able to see them your hcg must be higher than that they were not abke to see mine until it reached 1300 i am really confused i know it’s hard but i heard a lot of success stories with low hcg as long it is going up it is good try to wait and let us see what will happen 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you I'm 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant, they saw the sac the yolk sac and the fetal pole measuring 1.7mm which is very good for 6 weeks pregnant which i was last Friday, yeah I don't understand the hcg levels because mine are so low and they saw everything but couldn't see yours until your level reached 1300❤️❤️, I wish the both of us all the best and successful pregnancies with healthy babies xx

Hey! Everything seems to be ok right now, I'm having a blood test tomorrow for hcg levels and another scan on Friday to see the heartbeat because they couldn't see it last week because it was to small, how have you been doing? I hope your doing ok

Hi! How did your scan go? I have bad news unfortunately my hcg levels only went up by the smallest amount, it went from 570 on Monday to 593 today so it looks like I'm going to miscarry, I have my scan tomorrow😢

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean, I lost the last pregnancy but I got pregnant again at the end of July I'm currently 19 weeks and 1 day pregnant with this pregnancy but unfortunately I lost the first pregnancy with the low hcg levels

Are u still atking the prednisolone ?? I am also having slow raising HCG 😭 it is really frustrating this is my fourth pregnancy with 3 previous miscarriages.

I have been reading about the steroids and wondering whether they are effective and what is the dose?

This was 10 months ago this post, I was never taking prednisolone I was just taking progesterone but I'm currently 32 weeks and 1 day pregnant, this pregnancy I had really good rising hcg, I wish you good luck with your hcg levels, I ended up having a missed miscarriage with that last pregnancy last year in May
