Hey my lovely people, hope you are all well. When I'm not doing any treatments I'm quite quiet but always here to read your stories and when possible to give and advise or just say a few words of encouragement.
Just thought I'll pop in and say hi π I've been feeling quite good in the last few months, thank God for that! I had to desperately lose weight lol, so dieting, exercising. In all honesty I haven't felt that good in a very loooooong time βΊοΈ
I've been also in touch with my new consultant. She has asked me to get some blood tests done all came back fine. I've finally had a hysteroscopy which showed nothing wrong π€£ don't mean to sound ungrateful but I was sooooo hoping something will come out and explain all my struggles in the last 7 years π€£
So all good to go for a transfer in May wohooo. My consultant said she would focus on my progesterone, TSH levels and glucose etc. There won't be anymore intralipids as she said she believes I don't need them. This time I'm planning on returning to UK 4 days after my transfer and having my OTD here. Also no early scans for me anymore, I've lost last two pregnancies within 12 hours of my viability scans. I know the transvaginal scans are completely safe but due to last year's experiences I'm refusing to have one if I get a positive test with my next transfer.
So let's see what life has in stock for me in the next few months. I hope my 6th transfer and my last two frosties will bring joy and happiness in my life!
Sending hugs, smiles and lots and lots of love and positive vibes to you all β€οΈπΌπβΊοΈπ

Hey lovely, you are looking fabulous and more importantly you sound like you are ready to kick some IVF ass again! Good luck as always, lots of love.π€π»π€ππxxx
Hi its great to hear your feeling good, Its nice that these last few months you've had a focus with the health kick and feeling much better for it, after losses/ failures it is so difficult to get in the right frame of mind so well done you!! π , it probably feels amazing to have a bit of control over your body as we know during all the treatment we can feel run down and all over the place with the excess hormones and so on.
sorry that the tests didn't bring back any answers but good news all is well and you can start your FET process soon. wishing you all the luck for May lovely π xx
Thank you! It's definitely difficult to kick back and get into a shape to carry on but what choice do we have? Not much ahaha Hope you are doing well! Xx
I hope sooo much that this is your time ππ you are such an inspiration to everyone here. Glad to hear you are feeling so much better within yourself. You look amazing xxx
Aww thank you for the lovely words! I was in a bit of a dark place but luckily it didn't last too long and I've picked myself up. I'm tired of letting infertility manage my life! My life and my body, I'll be in control as much as I can! π€β€οΈHow's everything with you? Not long to go now wohooo! Hope everything is going great! Lots of love and smiles your way β€οΈ
Thank you ever so much! Hope is all well with you! πβ€οΈ
So glad you are feeling a bit more like your old (young) self and sure this break will do you the world of good! I know what you mean about the hysteroscopy and sort of hoping to find something, but focus on the fact you are in the clear and your consultant sounds really sensible with a great plan of action - keep us all updated - we will all be cheerleading you!! xx
Thank you! We laugh with hubby cause whenever we do some investigation we haven't done before we are both like "oh yeah, something is going to cime out this time" and the we laugh again that nothing comes out hahahah. I really like the new consultant so let's see π hopefully she has some different ideas and helps me finally stay pregnant! ππ€How are you? Is she here yet? β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπ€π€π€πππππ
I always enjoy reading your posts, what a well of positivity you are, it is so inspiring! Wishing you all the luck in the world for May, I will look out for your updates. Keeping everything crossed for you that this will finally be your time! All the best! xx
Awww thank you! I do have my dark moments too ahhaha but luckily they don't tend to last for too long! I'll keep you all posted as usual! How's everything with you? Have you had the green light for a FET?
Thank you for asking, I had my FET yesterday! I'm feeling super happy and positive, it's been a while since my last 2WW so am doubly excited. Here's hoping the time will pass really quickly! Not long till May now and your next transfer, I'll be keeping it all crossed for you! Sending lots of love and all the positive thoughts! xx
That's great! Being in the 2ww with fresh powers and full of positivity is very very important! All my fingers crossed hope it ends with the best news! Xx πππππ€π€π€
Thank you! Definitely not having an early scan if it works, I mean I know they are perfectly safe but with the experience from last year no way! π€ Hope is all going well with you and you are feeling great! β€οΈπ€π
Yeah I know it's probably daft but I saw your posts in the Autumn about early vaginal scans and they were actually the reason I waited until 8 weeks to have a first scan, as there is a private place near me that will do abdominal from 8 weeks. I know all the evidence says vaginal scans are totally safe but I got it into my head that I didn't want to have ANY regrets about anything, so held on a bit longer until they could get a reliable picture through the abdomen. I'm doing fine thanks Lovely π Sending you all my positive vibes! xx
Best of luck to you in May. I can definitely advocate for taking some time to feel yourself again, I did the same last year, nearly a whole year's break in the end, focused on my mental and physical health and it did me a world of good. I never felt better going into my last transfer and it just made everything a little bit easier. I also really liked for our overseas transfer taking a slow trip home after transfer, almost made it into a low key and distracting holiday (we took the train from southern Spain home to the UK!) And by the time I got home it was nearly test day!
Thank you! The longer break has definitely done me lots of good. We've taken a few trips too, went to Italy, Egypt and back home in Bulgaria so definitely last few months have been soooo normal for a change. π€Hope everything is going great with you! πβ€οΈπ€
Woo hoo, transfer in May! That's what I've been hoping and planning for, but just had a possible wobble from the clinic. Good for you for making that decision about the scans- follow intuition based on experience, yes!
I've been around on this forum about 5 years and definitely remember you. Let's hope this year brings something great for both of us!
Same here, I've joined 2018, been trying since 2016 it seems such a long time isn't it π I just hope the end of this struggle is just behind the corner! Hope dies last, with me, hope never dies! All my fingers crossed this year brings the biggest joy in our lives, so we can then complain about morning sickness and then complain about all the sleepless nights caused by our little miracles! Here is to an amazing 2023! πΌβ€οΈπππβ€οΈ
