thin lining ivf
also looking for individual attention clinic
hello,
Sorry to hear that you are feeling down about this. IVF is so hard and it can really take a toll on your health.
I don't have any recommendations for specific clinics but I do have a lot of experience of managing a thin lining and going on to have a successful pregnancy. What have you tried so far in terms of improving the lining? Have you already had transfers ? Has the consultant recommended anything? What thickness are they hoping to achieve?
There are so many things you can try and I am happy to send you a message about some of the things you could try. I know how hard it is when you feel deflated about the lining but lots of women on here have gone on to have successful pregnancies xx
hi ,
I’ve not done any transfers yet as nhs keep cancelling my transfers due to poor lining . I think I have 5.2 Mm as maximum . I have tired with extra medicated cycles which didn’t help.I’ve not tried oestrogen patch yet . But am not happy with nhs attention so don’t want to try anymore with them. I’m not on any mediation at the moment .Jsut trying to be active . Any other advice would be helpful. Have 2 embryos frozen
So sorry to hear this! I can't offer advice on the clinic choice but I had an issue with thin lining and the more medication I took the worse it got. Turns out my lining wasn't naturally thin so we did natural FET cycle (i.e no meds) and my lining was sooo much thicker than it ever was with medication (my body clearly didn't respond to the fake stuff). So if you haven't already then I'd either try a natural cycle when you find a clinic or get them to check what your lining is like around day 12/14 on a cycle you are not planning the transfer on just to see if naturally your lining is okay or not. As maybe you just need your body to do what it needs to do naturally.
We were finally able to transfer after a natural FET, though it did end in an early loss (I seem to have an issue with these though, which we are looking into). I've also heard other women having success with down reg medication before going into a FET, rather than oestrogen. Good luck!!
