FET immediately after failed FET

Hey

I am nearing the end of my 2 week wait and still BFN.

I have spoken to the clinic who advised as long as the Dr signs off, they are happy to start an immediate FET cycle on my first cycle day (two days after my actual test date for this transfer)

Has anybody has experience in going straight in for another FET cycle on the period immediately after a failed FET? I’d technically be starting my next cycle next week!

Any experience/advice? So much to think about and also worried if this would work should my period come on or before my test date?

Thanks so much

Hi Nicole, I did this. The first transfer was fresh, the second frozen. I did the frozen with natural hormones so I didn't have to take meds, just measure when I was going to ovulate via urine tests. Then the transfer was scheduled about 6 days after a surge. Just got pessaries of progesterone after that. Very straightforward and it didn't matter that my period was before my test date (Aberdeen test day 15). The only anxious parts were getting hold of the ovulation tests short notice and then waiting (I didn't ovulate until about day 20). Good news is it was successful, I'm now 7 months 😊 I wonder if the natural hormones worked for me. And the doctor seemed pretty confident at the time that there was a good chance. I'd felt a bit nervous going into it so quickly. But maybe less time to worry and try to over control everything was good! Anyway, best wishes for it. Any other questions, happy to help xx

thanks so much for this. It’s really reassuring to hear! I had a little bit of doubt going again so soon might affect our chances but mentally I think we just need to try again as soon as possible! Xx

I’ve only did back to back transfers when one wasn’t medicated but that’s only as my clinic doesn’t allow it you need a period in between for them or else with my impatience I probably would have! If the doctor sees no reason why not AND you feel emotionally and physically okay with it then if probably crack on … sometimes though the rest is exactly what my body and mind needs so no 2 months are ever the same 🤗💜 xx

Hi.. Did you end up doing another FET straight away? I’m testing negative 9 days after FET so thinking I’m out this month and don’t know wether to push for another FET straight after?
