I just wondered if anyone can give me some much-needed reassurance about going ahead with FET even if you have been mildly ill in the run up.
I'm due for a scan on Saturday to check lining thickness after 2 weeks on progynova. This is my first transfer and I've been doing what I can to be as well as possible ( staying away from crowds, eating well, reducing stress etc) but today, I've started to feel a bit achy and run down and fearing I might be getting ill. I don't even know if it is the estrogen that is causing the symptoms but I suspect not.
I still have a bit of time in my hands but quite upset things won't be perfect when they need to be.
Any advice or similar experiences would be great to hear
With love from an anxious novice! Xx

Thank you for your well wishes Janet. I agree - it seems to have been a bit more stressful than the last part of the cycle for some reason. Will be taking your advice, thank you!
I was really unwell when I had the transfer that led to my son. My clinic said unless you have a fever they’ll go ahead with transfer and don’t expect it to have any effect on the outcome. Hope you feel better soon xx
Thank you, very reassuring to hear and thank you for taking the time to reply! I think the symptoms in this part of the cycle have taken me by surprise a bit. I managed all the FSH and trigger injections in the fresh cycle without problems so didn't anticipate popping a few estrogen pills would be an issue! I'm learning to expect the unexpected and take it a bit easier xxx
