some advice whilst on Estradiol!

Hi all,

just wanted to come on here and share my thoughts. Due to have a FET W/C 6th March and the clinic have put me on estradiol. You’re meant to start this on your first day of period but Iv found that my period is like really light, very light brown which normally 3 days in I would be bleeding pink/red. Is this normal? Do these tablets allow you to still have a normal period?

I tool estradiol in my FET on the first day of period and my period was very light and short. I did bleed normal on day 2, but stopped around the end of day 3. Day 1 and day 3 were also very light and mainly light brown. It’s my first time on a medicated cycle so can’t compare

Heya, for my cycle I was advised to start estradoil on day 2 of my bleed (might be different with each clinic) but I did notice that my period became a lot lighter since taking the meds and ended a lot quicker than my normal bleed, so I think it’s a normal response for your body to react that way x
