3 out of 6 fertilised..

We just got our D1 update.

3 out of 6 eggs have fertilised normally..

(2 abnormally & 1 not at all)..

Anybody else have numbers like this & go on to have a healthy pregnancy?

We know we may lose 1 by day 3, but are hoping to have 2 by day 5, to transfer.

I’m half happy & half deflated..

Hello Mrsjaytee, keep hanging in there, you're doing great! I know how hard this anxious waiting for news is and it is so difficult to just trust in the process. In my last egg collection I had 7 mature eggs collected and only 3 fertilised normally. I remember so clearly how deflated I felt after the call from the embryologist as the numbers in itself were less promising compared to my round the month before. However, all three from Day 1 made it to Day 5 and Day 6 respectively and my two Day 5 embryos tested euploid. So you are in with all the chances that one of your three growing embryos will be the one to turn into your baby! Stay strong and keep the faith! You can do this! X

yep same happened to me and I only had 1 egg fertilise normally and that embryo is my now 1 year old baby boy. Completely straight forward and healthy pregnancy. Good luck x 🍀

this gives me so much hope - thank you for sharing. From 6 eggs we only had one fertilise - and we now wait til Monday to hear if it made it to day 5. I know yours resulted in a pregnancy - but did they tell you why the other 5 didn’t fertilise? X

not really, they just said the eggs will have been genetically abnormal and not capable of fertilisation. I was 40 when they were collected so that’s probably about right

Hi, in my case i got 7 eggs retrieved from which 3 got fertilized they did transfer all the follicles. One got stuck and now i m happy mother of 4 months old baby boy . I hope this will motivate you. Just be positive and don't think too much after transfer.

Have they transferred?

no. Only 1 was good enough to be sent for PGS-A testing, so I am waiting about 2 weeks on the results.
