My period is due tomorrow and I ve been feeling off for about a week, don't know what made me test today but I did.....anyway.....this is not my first urine of the day, I have had so many cups of tea....shocked is an understatement.

Congratulations, you are definitely pregnant, Cheeky! I am a serial tester and know how tempting it is to become obsessed over line progression. If I may share my approach to obtain some degree of reassurance with you, please, it's to get your betas done as only a blood test will give you an accurate view on whether the levels are increasing in keeping with your expected gestation. If your clinic don't do pregnancy blood tests, you could speak to your GP? These would need to be repeated 2 to 3 days later to assess hcG increase. Urine pregnancy tests may or may not show a darkening line as the days go on, with my first pregnancy (my son is now a very healthy 4) I only first tested when I was 5 weeks exactly and never got a super dark line. A viability scan between 6 and 7 weeks will tell you if your pregnancy is in the right location. Unfortunately, for us fertility warriors who may have experienced loss previously, being pregnant is an anxiety ridden time and we can only try to take it one hurdle (scan, test etc.) at a time.
