My consultant explained that each round of IVF has approximate success rate of 30% each time... now that I've reached transfer with a good 5 day Blast are those odds still the same ? Or is it 30% for a cycle from start to finish ! I'm so confused !

We had a blast too and got told we had around 30% maybe higher chance too juat before transfer so I presume its from now! However I'm over 38 so maybe this is why. I think I read somewhere if you're younger then it's 50%.xx

Why don't you look on the hfea webpage - they have all the clinics and their success rates which you can break down into age groups etc. If you google it you should find it. Although I started to drive myself crazy looking at statistics and in then end have just had to say to myself it doesn't really matter because the outcome is binary - it'll work or it won't! What I'd like to know (because we live to analyse) is why do they only consider age and success rate? No info on embryo quality or lining which I would think would be interesting.
