injected bemfola on cycle day 1 by accident

hi, I’ve accidentally started my bemfola injection on cycle day 1 instead of 2, has anyone else done this ? I feel like Ive completely ruined my IVF treatment

I haven’t ever done this (they dont give us our stims until day 2) but I would give the clinic a phone and see what the say 🤗 they’ve probably seen it all before xx

thanks for your reply! I have rang the clinic and have been told the nurse will call me back at 4pm to advise me, hopefully I haven’t mucked up the whole process 🙈🙈

Honestly, I think they say day 2 just because it's easier. Your period could start any time on day 1 and it would make it difficult to calculate days and doses, whereas if you start stims on day 2 you're taking morning and evening stims in the same pattern you'll follow for the next 10 days or so, if that makes sense?The clinic will need to know as it will likely have a knock on effect on dates, but I'm sure they'll tell you it's fine 😉 Good luck!!
