Test day..help with dates

Hi all

I had an egg collection on Wednesday 11th Jan and a transfer 5 days later (Monday 16th Jan).

I was told on Monday that my test day should be the 1st Feb. Only now have a sat down to think about it….the test day given will be 16 days after a day 5 transfer. Is this right?

I don’t want to wait longer than needed 😆

it must be different at various clinic as my clinic they are making me test 9 days after! Which I always think isn’t that long in comparison! X

I’ve just had a browse online and it does vary it seems. I had a double trigger shot so that might be the reason for needing to wait a little longer.

I’ll check with the clinic but I’m guessing they’ll confirm the 1st as OTD.

It’s only been 4 days and I’ve already had the urge to test, but I’m a stickler for the rules, so I shall wait 🙃

My fresh 3 day embryo transfers have always been 11 days post transfer. 16 seems so long 😳

Thank you 💜 I have emailed the clinic to check. Fingers crossed we can go a few days earlier.
