Hi everyone

I had blastocyst transfer on Monday and I am feeling super impatient! How soon after day 5 blastocyst can I test? My clinic said 15 days!!

Also any suggestions on how to distract my mind?

I know I should go with what the clinic say, but just wondered if anyone has had accurate results a little earlier??

Thank you 😊

I got my strong positive 7 days post 5 day transfer 😬 but I know others who have got a negative and then tested day 14 and it’s positive! I would say try and wait but that’s easier said than done! Good luck to you ! Xx

Hey, my clinic said 9 days after transfer as the 5 day blastocyst makes it 14 days. I haven’t had my transfer yet but really hoping that’s the case as I won’t be able to wait either 🙈 no idea how people do it! I’d say wait until 9 days at least but don’t be disheartened if negative as so much can change in a day or so.

Good luck! Xx

I wonder why clinics are giving different advice? Gosh, this is definitely the toughness part!!

All the best when transfer day comes and I hope everything goes well for you xx

Hi penman. It's so tempting, but do try and be patient and test when recommended by your clinic. You could easily get a negative reading too early on, then it changes to a positive, so don't give yourself the worry. Try and keep busy if you can. Keeping everything crossed for you. Diane

Hi Diane.

Oh I know you are so right, but it's just so difficult! It seems different clinics give different advice. I'm trying so hard yo distract myself!!

Thank you xx

I got a faint-ish positive 5 days after on a FRER test, and the line got stronger each day after. I tested early as I had OHSS symptoms which I suspected were being caused by a pregnancy and wanted to confirm.

Fantastic!

I felt pretty nauseous this morning and my breasts are super tender. I feel like I am super sensitive and feeling every twinge difference in my body 🙈 or is my mind making all this up because its what I want? Im also having some cramping. Just not sure what I should be expecting at day 3 post ET.

My mind is just in over drive 😬 xx

I would say last as long as you can! I had a bfp at 3dp5dt, then it faded which was heart wrenching, my second go I got a bfn at 5dp5dt then a bfp the next day! Hold out as looong as you can last! Good luck and lots of positive vibes to you and your little bean! xxx

Hey lovely .... arghhhhhh definitely one of the hardest parts emotionally having to go through the 2WW.

My clinic have said blast will bed in between days 7-9ptd +5 which is when HCG would normally then be giving you a reading ... however .. (always a but hey!).. the trigger injection will/could still be in your system and will give false readings ... 😬😬😬 so best to hang on in there.

So tough hun ... I was thinking about starting knitting 🧶 or somthing ... trying to keep my mind and hands amused .. !

Hoping the next few days goes super speedy for you xx

Yes, the clinic said that the trigger injection could give a false reading. I just need to be patient and wait and do it when I've been advised.

I definitely need to find a pass time, knitting might be a good idea! I've never done it in my life!! Xx
