So I had 5 day blastocyst transfer on 17th and my doc suggested HCG test on 24th though I plan to do on 25th. When I asked isnt it too early to test within 7 days ? She said 5 day blastocyst transfer they will know in 7 days and they will look for lower numbers. I am a little confused as I feel there may be better chance if I do at 14 days. Did any one had this experience ?

I always get a blood test at 9dpt if the embie has stuck there would be HCG in your blood after just a couple days...it might not show up on a home pregnancy test (yet I had a dark 2nd line at 7dpt on a hpt) but you would in a blood test. Very best of luck to you! 🙏🤞💕Xxx
I also got day 5 blastocyst transfer on the 17th but it was a FET. My home pregnancy date isn’t until the 30th although maybe it’s because my doctor doesn’t test bloods this early just home pregnancy test. Can you let me know if they detect anything at it though as I’d like to request for it as I don’t think I can wait another full week. I have no symptoms at all. Do you have any? xxx
I had a 5day blastocyst transferred on 19 February and tested blood (hcg) on 26 February. Got a bfp, not a high number (40), but above minimum limit. Repeated the hcg 3 more times, every 2 days to check the increase. I also did a sensitive home pregnancy test on 25 February and got a very faint line. Blood tests are still more reliable.
I had no implantation bleeding, was a bit tired and caught a cold (read afterwards that the immune system is lower, so can be a good sign). Got a very small bleeding on 25 February. They tested my progesterone and increased my dose.
Good luck!
