Evening Ladies, I hope you’re well. I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone else had experienced this. I had IVF in 2017 and had a successful pregnancy. I then conceived naturally very quickly and had my 2nd baby in 2019. We found out 2wks ago we were pregnant however I’ve been scanned today after heavy cramps and bleeding to be told there is no pregnancy. My urine is still testing positive and so they have taken my bloods even though the scan shows no pregnancy. I just can’t help but wonder why, how have I carried before and now this has happened? Also I’ve been feeling very fluey, fever, tummy pains now more so than cramps. The blood has eased and I’m passing less clots. This hasn’t happened before so just checking my symptoms and if there’s anything else to be mindful of. Thanks in advance xxx

Hi!I'm so sorry for what are you going through. I wanted to say that chemical pregnancies happen all the time. My first FET was a chemical. But this year my best friend that got pregnant naturally from their first try and have a beautiful 2 year old, had a chemical as well and then a few months later she conceived again and she's 20 weeks pregnant. It's not something wrong with you. It's a lottery and chemicals happen more often then women know.

If the blood has eased it's a good sign. My miscarriage was a little more painful then a normal period with more blood and clots. For both of my miscarriages my period came back at exactly 5 weeks. But it won't come until the HCG goes back to zero. It's good they did a scan because sometimes tisue can be left behind in the uterus and can cause infection.

Be kind to yourself and don't be so harsh on your body. It did amazing things. Happy holidays!☃️🎅🎈

So sorry you're going through this 😔 Unfortunately even if you've had healthy pregnancies in the past, miscarriages can just happen. Sometimes the embryo just isn't quite right and doesn't develop as it should. It doesn't mean you will necessarily have problems of you conceive again, sometimes as irritating and heartbreaking as it, these things just happen. Hope your little family helps you to heal, and that you have plenty of support xx
