Hi. I am 42 with 3 failed cycles in UK, 2 private and one NHS. We are looking at the pregnancy guarantee scheme with this clinic and I'm reaching out to see what experience you may have had in terms of which of their clinic locations may be better, the donor egg process, or general feedback on IB. Nervous as it's so much money and I don't feel I know even the questions to ask. Thanks!

I am today 15 weeks with my first transfer at IB (although DE). We went with the Alicante clinic for ease of travel from our home airport (frequent, inexpensive direct flights). We had, had 7 rounds of OE IVF in the UK at various clinics with only one chemical pregnancy.

My advice would be to go to the clinic to get your testing done to be accepted on the guarantee, it’s so much easier than getting it done here & reasonably priced. We faffed about trying to get things done here and wasted a lot of time waiting for appointments etc.

In terms of the actual cycle we were in Spain for about 8 nights and stayed near San Juan beach so had a little bit of a holiday (slightly odd holiday!) but still enjoyed it.

The clinic is really modern & well organised.

My only regret is not going sooner and trying too long in the UK with OE.

There’s also a great supportive Facebook group for this clinic where you can join and ask questions. It’s a great resource.

There are a few having treatment at the Madrid clinic in the group so you can get an idea from them on the pros and cons of going to Madrid.

It’s worth me adding that I’m a lot older than you at 46…

Hi catkt. Was wondering if you could PM the approx costs I've done 6 rounds here , 2 with donor all failed I'm 45 next yr so looking at my next steps not ready to give up yet xxx
