IVF abroad, success stories please!

Hello, I'm 43 and have been trying to conceive naturally for 6 years.

We're considering IVF abroad using my own egg and interested in finding out a few things from those who have been successful and what was different from UK clinics if anyone had experience in both.

1. methods taken (conventional, mild, minimum or natural cycle? FET?)

2. number of cycles before pregnancy

3. arrangement with your & your partner's work, did they have to take a leave, did you have to visit several times to get pregnant etc.
