Hello everyone. I am new on here and never posted. Pls I'd really appreciate answers to my question I am really worried. I have PCOS and this is my 3rd ivf cycle. I am actually using donor eggs and my FET is on Monday morning. The issue is I have been cramping like my period wants to come. I am hoping it's not a red flag. Pls has any one experienced this. My hospital thinks it's normal but I don't want to believe. I don't want to take chances. I hope I am not just being lied to, pls I need to know what's going on before going for the transfer on Monday. Thank you and hoping to hear from you🙏

Cramping before Fet but using donor
hi! So sorry to hear you’re so worried. If the cramping seems unusual to you I’d suggest (if possible) that you ask your clinic for a scan first thing on Monday prior to thawing your embryo(s) for your transfer. In my case I woke up with the tiniest bit of bloody discharge the morning of my FET and I alerted my doctor immediately and he asked that I come in for a scan just to make sure everything is fine. Turns out there were no issues, just a little from my cervix. The scan will give you peace of mind. Wishing you best of luck! X
Hey hun. Morning. I had Fet on the 6th of December. I actually asked for a reassurance scan on the 5th ( day before transfer). You should call clinic and suggest you are anxious and what like a scan prior to check lining still optimal thockness
Hi! I had a lot of pre-period like cramping before my first FET because of the progesterone. I did ask for reassurance from my clinic and got it on the day on the transfer when they have a good look at how things are during the scan. I am on progesterone now too for my second FET and the cramps have come back. I am sure there are many possible reasons for cramps but hang in there, it could very well be your body responding to the progesterone! The annoying thing is that the cramps persist during the TWW and one keeps thinking their period is about to come. Good luck!
if you have started progesterone already for your FET it’s quite likely that 🤗 as it can often fell like period cramps especially in the first few days. Lots of luck for your transfer 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽💜 xx
I feel so too. Thank you so much though I am kinda nervous
don’t be nervous this is the exciting part and it’s so quick and painless 🤗 it’s actually magical to see the embryo go in. Think happy thoughts and I have my fingers crossed for you xx
