Still feeling symptoms

I'm so confused. One week following the MC and I'm still feeling quite a few symptoms (on and off). Tests last week were totally blank so can't have any leftover hormones. No more pessaries so can't be caused by those. I'm still nauseous and having headaches, absolutely exhausted. Is it just stress? Why don't I feel more normal by now?

When I had my mmc after management I still felt bit odd including no appetite for weeks after. I think being on drugs and having some hormones levels it takes some time to get your body to normal!

Thank you, I would understand a bit better if I had any hormones left but I can't otherwise I would still have positive tests. It's so sad still feeling kind of pregnant when there's no reason at all why I should be.

I felt the same. Your body has had to adjust to the massive change in loss of pregnancy hormones to your normal hormones. Sorry you are going through this xx

Sorry for your loss.

I felt the same after a miscarriage earlier this year. Also struggling after my recent failed round, finished the drugs 10 days ago and am suffering headaches and totally exhausted.

Yeah you feel a bit pants hormones dropping blood loss. I took iron tablets and started taking a load of supplements. Eating good drinking Pom juice was ok after a few days.

You will, have a few takeaways chill some alcohol is aways good lol might aswel wait til after Xmas then start fresh x

I was ready to stuff myself with pate and Brie and a tonne of wine and gin. Until they said actually we see something!

I have to wait til New Years day at 10am for scan. I’d be amazing if this pregnancy works out I really don’t understand how I’ve lost 4 weeks of pregnancy.

My partner thinks we’ll miscarry again has little hope left I have had bleeding last thurs and mon not loads but pink. And prev on 23/24th Nov brown/pink its not been an easy pregnancy so far. Different to mc bleeding it stops after a few wipes sorry tmi.

It took me a couple of weeks before i started to feel normal, its the worst feeling knowing you have lost everything yet it still feels like its not over xxxx

I was the same after my MC,I bleed for about 10 days and thought that was it over but I carried on feeling sick and had cramping for another few weeks but it eventually passed. It’s such a cruel thing to go through 💔 xx

It is! I think I had it fairly easy in the grand scheme of things as I only bled for 4 days and only 2 of those were heavy x

Hi Kitcat12, I am sorry you had to go through this. I was the same and worst a week after miscarriage I had the milk coming ! I was sooo down and called the hospital to see what is happening. they said it's kind of normal and takes a while until your hormones go back to normal. just take it easy. have light meals and loads of fruits and veggies. I just hope you'll feel better and grow strong for your next battle. it's not easy but you can do it. we all can do it. xxx
