Hi ladies!

If you seen my previous post I had a natural bfp last week and still getting a dark line on frer.

I did beta on Monday which was day 30 and the results came back today at 102.

My progesterone level is 86.6 nmol/L

Is this too low for it being a viable pregnancy?

I can’t look into a repeat test until next week.

There’s been no spotting or bleeding but on and off period like cramps since last week.

Anybody with any input, please feel free to share with me. I really appreciate you all as always ❤️ xxx

Ps: the picture is the tests from Sunday to Tuesday. Today was about the same colour too, no change.

Beta update:

Hey lovely ladies

I did a second beta on Monday and it was 1190 which was a week after the first one on 102. It looks like its doubling every 48 hours so far 😊

;) looks positive to me! If your worried about progesterone nothing wrong in using a pessary or asking a clinic about your levels did you ring B hall?

Hey hun. I do have pessaries left over but not sure if I should use them. My clinic is in Nottingham and they said theu can’t offer any help or advice with a natural pregnancy. Gp even didn’t talk to me and i just managed to get my results. xx

My old clinic said my progesterone levels were okay and then still gave me injections to do to help implantation said nothing wrong with a bit more. I guess you need to follow medical advice. That hcg is normal and healthy :) just do a repeat one in a week or so and then take it from there. Maybe look into your local early pregnancy unit and ring them for advice. X

Progestrone should not be affecting the positive results on a HPT. The HPT only measures the Beta HCG in Urine. The beta test you received from blood indicates the level in blood and is a quantitative measure. This is after all the questions i posted and googling on various sites. So the value you have is something only a doctor would be able to help you with. You need a gyn to read the numbers and let you know. Also after asking i understood, one number does not help determine any thing other than you are pregnant if it is > 5.

I am going through the same turmoil. I had one test on 14dp5dt and waiting to get another one done tomorrow to see how it will turn out. 🤞

Sending positive thoughts and love for a healthy pregnancy. 💕🌈❤️🤗

Thanks for replying hun. I’m honestly more stressed now not knowing if my levels are ok or not and the bank holiday weekend doesn’t help. wishing you all the best too ❤️ xx

I completely understand. It is so difficult when no one can really help tell you what this all means. Going through the same thing, but decided to try one more in private by myself to keep some sanity. Hang in there. It will all turn out well for you. Having everything crossed for you.🤞🏼🌈🍀❤️

I think they are both good levels. My hcg started off at 104. What matters more is the growth so re-check in 2 days. My progesterone today was 97.1 and i’m over 9 weeks. All good, wishing you all the best for your pregnancy Xxx

Thanks a lot for replying. I’ll be doing another beta on Monday so it will be a week apart from the first test. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy ❤️ Xx

That’s fine, if you can wait that long! There are online calculators to check the growth of the level. Good luck 💕 xx

I wish I could do another blood today or tomorrow but the gp is closed for holidays and my clininc said they won’t offer anything for a natural pregnancy 😢

Hey! Your tests look great and it seems also a good HCG result too. Just to ask as you know mine was an natural pregnancy too, I immediately got in touch with my clinic (also based in notts, but I go to a satellite clinic more local to me for scans and bloods) I called them immediately they said use progesterone and although I had to pay they did my blood test and I am booked in again next week. I wonder if it is worth another try with your clinic? Let me know if I can offer any support feel free to PM xxx

Thanks a lot love. I’ve never had an actual beta test nor have any previous experience so the numbers don’t make any sense to me. Your comment made me feel much calmer. Really appreciate it ❤️ xx

Your levels are absolutely fine, nothing to worry about 😁🤩 congratulations. Also you are saying the last test is the same, my love you are wrong...the last test I can see the control line is getting lighter, this is called dye stealer pretty sure you heard of this before. In max 2 -3 days the control line will be lighter then test line 🥰

Thank you so much for replying and explaining that. I never knew about the dye stealer so learned something new today. Honestly I couldn’t cope without the support in this forum ❤️ xx

Not sure about HCG but that progesterone level is high! My normal level was 46 and they were happy with that. And cramps are all part of early pregnancy symptoms. (Annoyingly just like a period)

Thanks hun. I’m going to do another test on Monday and see how it goes. Everyone seems to say the level increasing that’s important so I’ll have to be patient. It’s just too hard 😩 xx

I can see a change in colour. Pointless having a scan until over 7 weeks, my clinic won't do it any earlier as it could be unreliable so I wouldn't even look into it. Its easy for me to say stop testing but if this was an old wives tale, the story you would be told would be... too much testing makes you go blind. Live as much as you can in your pregnancy bubble, you have no control over anything so try to enjoy things hour by hour. ❤️❤️❤️ xx

You’re absolutely right Holly. I’ll do my best to not overthink it. I’ve stopped testing now and will do a second beta next week. Hopefully that should give me a good idea. Wishing you all the best ❤️ xxx

Good, try as much as you can not too. The chances are, everything is going to be just fine and you deserve as much joy as you can, so don't let the aniexty take that away from you right now lovely, because guess what, your pregnant 😏😘❤️ CONGRATULATIONS!!! xxx
