Lining scan pre FET follicle/cyst

So just had my lining scan this morning prior to FET and whilst the lining is great the scan showed up either a follicle or cyst.... they're not too sure which it is at this point so got to go back Monday for another scan to see if any change. Just wondered if anyone else has had this and gone on to still have their FET. My worry is it will be cancelled and then have to wait until after Christmas 😔

Hi Bex. So sorry to hear this. However, you need to be OK to start your stims. If it is a cyst, they may be able to drain it so it doesn't cause any trouble, fingers crossed. Hope you don't have to wait until the New Year, Good luck! Diane

Hi Diane, thanks for your reply. I've been taking oestradial 3 times a day for my lining so was hoping could get booked in for transfer but unfortunately not 😔 will have to see what Monday brings. Thank you xx

I had this during stims and they still did transfer - they seemed to not be concerned at all, whereas here’s me freaking out! They just gave me antibiotics during egg collection

Hi there, sorry to hear this. Unfortunately I've some experience of cysts and high oestrogen - it's happening to me right now. Did they take bloods to see if the cyst is producing oestrogen?

For my last fet I had a cyst and they weren't really worried about it as such as it wasn't large, they were more concerned if it was producing oestrogen or not (it was) so they just put me on an extended down reg till my levels came down. I was on down reg for 6 or so weeks and then got to transfer.

Unfortunately its happened to me again in the lead up to my next fet in November - my oestrogen levels are as high as when I'm in a stimming round even tho I've been down regging for 3 weeks! I've 4 or 5 follicles in there.

This time they've switched me to burselin injections as my body doesn't respond to the nasal spray it seems! It's delayed me a little but they assure me they will get me there. I'm sure you will be OK too, it's best that your body is in good condition for transfer as high oestrogen can cause implantation issues etc xx

Hi Bex2 I had a what they weren't sure was a cyst or leading follicle this round and had to have a trigger shot to get rid. Seems like my down regulation only part worked ended up bring on Buserelin for about 8 weeks it was awful.They tend to err on the side of caution so if it's not dissapeared I'd prepare yourself for them putting it back.

hi. I’ve had cysts on and off over the last couple of years showing up when having fresh or FET. Had my scan couple weeks ago and there it was again despite not there couple months ago!! I went in last week for my transfer as they weren’t concerned about it. Have a chat with them. Good luck.

I had my first scan on Tuesday the same happend to me lining was fine but a cyst had showed up iv never had any before so was really worried but they explained to me they come and go sometimes left over if you have ovulated the Previous month and can go away on its own but some can produce oestrogen and if it was I would have to stop my injections and i was upset I didnt want anything to be delayed but i had another scan yesterday it had shrunk and got the results of my bloods and they were all fine so it could be nothing good luck

A cyst showed up on my scan prior to my last transfer. The clinic weren’t concerned as cysts come and go. I haven’t had any issues with the cyst and the transfer resulted in a BFP.

It seems I've ovulated! So they have said I will start down regulation on Friday so whilst I am disappointed at least we will hopefully get the transfer in before Xmas if all goes to plan.... well that's the biggy isn't it! As we all know only too well it doesn't always work like that. I've stopped my oestradial today (sure they said to stop it) and then have another scan near the end of the month! Fingers crossed 🤞 xx
