Hi ladies, so we have decided to try a clinic Gennet (Prague) for one last try woth our own eggs after 3 failed cycles in UK clinics.
I am 40 now but my AMH is ont too bad for my age sort of normal, however I don't respond to the Stimulate meds. We only have got 2 embryos from all 3 cycles 😢 the clinic has encouraged us to go for donor due to our poor suscess, but we want to try another clinic just once.
I know it may be another fail but as you all know it's hard to lose that hope!maybe the next one will work 🙏
Has anyone had suscess here in prague whilst failed in UK? Has anyone got anything that I need to ask the clinic for as in tests etc. I just want to make sure I'm doing all i can to help this one be a suscess
hi Lenny, I haven’t been to Prague but can I ask if you had long or short cycles previously? I was also 40 when I had IVF and found the short much better than the long but for some reason clinics seem to be set on one or the other and reluctant to tailor to the patient.
Kitkat, I am not sure if I have long or short........ So what I am on is, day 15 down reg, then stims for 12/14 days then egg retrieval?? I actually have never noticed what term that is.
Hi Lenny.I am based in Ireland but have had two ivf cycles with this clinic. We have never cycled in Ireland as this clinic was recommended to us by my sis in law who is a gp and had many patients attend there.I could not recommended them enough.Nurses and doctors.I am also a poor responder due to low ovarian reserve and endometriosis also age 40.I only produced 5 eggs in total for both cycles but we got 4 embryos and I am currently 9 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby 🌈.We have always used a short protocol.Even after our first failed cycle we would have had no hesitation in recommending them.Feel free to message me if you have any more questions I am happy to help😊x
