Evorel Patches for FET - Advice please

Hi All,

Ive just started an FET cycle, and I’ve got Evorel Patches. I put the first 2 patches on yesterday (Friday), and im due to change them on Sunday.

Problem is, they’re not sticking properly. One came off after a shower, and the other one’s come off after my bath this evening.

There’s only enough patches in the box to get me through to transfer, and I don’t know if it’s safe to put another two on. Help! I really don’t want to waste the cycle because the flippin’ patches won’t stick 😔

Has anyone got any advice on this? X

Hi GraceFace, I recommend taping them down! It gives a bit of piece of mind and also helps prevent the black marks they can leave behind. I used Fixomull (which is just super handy and dealt perfectly with showers) but I'm sure there are other options: Fixomull Stretch 10m X 5 cm amzn.eu/derx17q

Fixomull covered the whole patch but you could do just the edges, too.

Good luck! X

Hi Grace,

I have been on these for a few months and the best time to apply is after a shower but no cream. Let your body completely dry and then apply and wear clothes and no cream or creamy products near to them. Baby oil helps to remove the sticky residue but do not stick another one on until thoroughly scrubbed off the oil and showered etc. Maybe you're using a creamy shower gel? Perhaps switch up the products you use? Xx

Thank you! I’ll try that x x

Hi Grace, I had this problem as well my nurse told me if one comes off and can’t be stuck back on replace it with a new one but still change both again on the day your due for changing them. Like Riocca says shower wait to dry completely then put them on. It’s worked for me. I usually sit with a towel round me for 5 mins then put them on xx
