So I had my consultation last week and we are actually due to start our second round next month! I only started my first ‘proper’ period couple days ago after our first round and my clinic said it’s fine to start.
I feel fine and feeling good to start again but did wonder if that was long enough.
Only difference this time is that they are upping my meds from 300 to 375 and I’m having an endometrial scratch.
Any advice for second time is much appreciated! 🤗

I’m in the similar situation. This is my 2nd cycle ( I’m just having my period now) however I’m having a month of before going again.
A bit of the reasons is because my clinic were slow getting back to me that I’ve missed this month 😠 but also I wasn’t sure whether to have this month as a bit of a break and to have the natural period then start next month. I guess the decision has been taken out of my hands because of the clinic ! I’m also going to start counselling this month so maybe it isn’t a bad thing that I’m having a break!
Ours is a frozen one as we managed to freeze one from first cycle!
Is yours a frozen cycle ?
We are also different and I’d have probably gone for it this cycle if I wasn’t too late. So I’m sure you’ll be great 👍🏼 !
Yes luckily when my clinic emailed I actually had started period that day lol so they said ‘perfect let get going!’ I was quite surprised but didn’t really have a reason to not go ahead. I also had counselling this week for the first time- I found it quite beneficial, me and my partner done it together. I hope yours goes ok and is also beneficial for you 💕
Ours is fresh again, i have low AMH so sadly the two we hoped we could freeze didn’t make it to day 6. So we’re starting all again- ahh!
I hope your second round is a successful one for you lovely ☺️x
If your not already taking coenzyme q10 supplements I would recommend them I believe they helped quth the amount and quality of eggs we got in our 3rd round. Info in my profile. Good luck 👍
wow! I just read your story on your profile and wanted to say congratulations and incredible what a difference coq10 seems to have made for you! I’m on 200g twice a day and this has me questioning whether I should up it. Seriously, very happy that your outcome has been so good and well done for pushing through the difficult experiences x
Thank you. I can't say for definite if the coq10 made the difference as we did add the testosterone gel in aswell but I would say theres no harm in upping the amount you take as there aren't really any negative side effects and anything in the process is worth a try! Good Luck x
Hi Stars, I'm just wondering if you could let me know what brand you were taking/where you got it because I'm on quite a lot of it and finding it very expensive! Hoping to start a round in November so the more I can get into me the better.
I ended up getting mine from ebay as non of the health food shops or pharmacys seem to stock 300mg. I checked with my clinic that they were genuine which they said they seemed to be. Link below.
Take each day of your treatment as it comes - if unsure of what is happening ask questions. It will help put your mind at ease and reduce your stress levels
Best of luck! The second round is both easier and harder. You know what to expect, but you also know what to expect lol just try to stay positive, be healthy, stay level and hope hope hope! Xxx
