losing hope

Hi all,

I’ve not really got a question I’m just coming in here to offload, I’m at work & can’t concentrate. We’re using DE, had thawing this morning, we only had 4 & only 2 have survived the thaw & will be ICSI’d. We’ll find out tomorrow if any have fertilised. I knew all along 4 was a very small amount & I think I got my hopes up a bit much. I was hoping 3 eggs would make it as the vitrification process states 85% survival apparently. It’s just a waiting game now I guess.

hey i only hv 1 egg retrieved but it fertilized

so there is hope !

so the 2 eggs didn’t fertilise, that’s our journey over. We’ve had the tests on sperm, eggs, used de still no fertilisation. They can’t say if it’s an egg or sperm problem as there may have been issues with de quality as there were only 4 or there may be an issue with sperm despite tests all coming back as okay. It’s frustrating not having an answer!! And we can’t afford to keep trying not knowing what the issue is.
