Ultrasound at 7 weeks

hi everyone, so about 5days ago i had my first ultrasound scan. I should have been 7 weeks post-FET at this point. But the biggest embryo was should a gestational age of 6weeks 2days, heart beat was seen and heard, thank God. The problem is the other embryo, yeah the heartbeat was seen too, barely heard but the embryo was so small, in a normal gestational sac. So i had a repeat of the ultrasound today and the findings are the same, same gestational age, a barely seen second embryo, still 2 heart beats. Please can anyone tell me what this means, i think i am now very very scared.

hi, do you mean your most recent scan yesterday showed the same measurments as the scan 5 days ago?

Its always best to speak to your doctor or the clinic for advice, so I would do that first. In very early pregnancy there can be discrepancies between equipment as some are more senstive than others, and even 1mm makes a difference, but your clinic will be able to explain all scenarios with you.

Hi, yes the values yesterday were exactly the same as those obtained 5 days ago but both embryos still have hearbeats

Hello, at these early stages it is not accurate and you can still be +/- 5 days from what the consultant says. What did your consultant say about this? Try not to panic, it's hard i know but please stay calm and look after yourself.

Thank you for this, my OBGYN said everything was ok after the first scan though, i was really worried about the second embryo that's why i did the second scan 5 days later. Mostly i was asked to rest a lot and take my meds
