Day 5 follicle growth

Hi Ladies,

I just had my day 5 scan to start a natural modified cycle. They saw only two follicles and both of them large already. One is 17mm while the other 14mm. They told me to administer both Gonal and then Citrodite this evening as the larger follicle might ovulate anytime. I then need to go back for another scan tomorrow and we might also trigger tomorrow.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I am worried that the second follicle won’t have time to mature. I am also shocked by how quickly my follicles grew without any stimulation. I supposed to start stimulation this evening anyway. Will they be of good quality if they grew so fast?

On the other hand I am happy I don’t have to self administer many times but obviously I want to give the best chance for my eggs and I am flabbergasted about this news.

Any similar experience and success stories? Thank you.
