When did people get their next period after failed ivf??

So I had a failed ivf cycle in April, I had started to spot just before my test day, then once I stopped the progesterone pessaries I bled heavy for 2-3 days then not so bad for the next 7 days, then stopped. I should of been due on last Monday (If my cycle was correct) I know last year it was late after my failed cycle, but only by 4 or 5 days, now I'm over a week late, I'm wondering how long other lovely ladies had to wait?

I don't feel even like I'm due on ne time soon, I have no symptoms at all, and usually have very tender boobs for a week before. Husband thinks I should take a test, but I really don't think I need to, I dont believe we could of naturally conceived, especially just after a failed cycle, and I dont have ne pregnancy symptoms either.

Hi, I just had a failed ivf (chemical pregnancy) and I started bleeding 3 days after my blood test. I also did a frozen cycle in April (and failed w/o even an implantation). So far, my period has been pretty consistent after each failed cycle. I do know that ivf messes up your period cycle for some ladies. If I were u, I’d just test just to get peace of mind 💪🏼

Hi, I am in the exact same situation! I also had a failed ivf cycle in April, and got my period when I stopped the progesterone. I am now in the next cycle, tracking my BBT and no sign of ovulation although I am on day 22... (I always ovulate before day 18). So I expect this cycle to be either anovulatory (never happened to me yet!) or more that a week late...

I am pretty sure it is due to the drugs used for ovarian stimulation / ovulation suppression messing up with our natural cycle.

Thank u for ur reply. It's so difficult isn't it. My cycles r usually only 24 days long so now I'm on day 35 and still waiting! Xx

Yes it is so annoying... all the planning for next treatments gets delayed ☹️ I wish the medical team had given me the heads up on what to expect beforehand.

My second AF went AWOL after one of my failed cycles. I think I was around 43 days before it eventually came. Im like you I always think whats the point in taking a test to see another negative....gets right on my wick! Hang on in there, I would probably give it another week and if still not here resign myself to doing a test!xx

Thank u for ur reply. I think I'll give it another week, like u suggest. I feel like taking a test is just a complete waste of money because it hasn't happened in the 10 years weve been trying for so y would it now xx
