Just curious about NK cell testing. I do have bouts of autoimmune issues, they tend to happen every few years and i have to then go onto immune suppressants for a while in order to ‘cure it’ or make it go away.
Due to this I was wondering if this may be effecting fertility at all, and whether NHS funded IVF would complete a NK cell blood test.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did NHS cover it during treatment or did you have to pay private to have it completed?

Hey hun as far as I'm aware it's an extra cost to get it all tested. I was referred to a recurrent miscarriage specialist after a few failed pregnancies and I had it done through the NHS but in other cases I'm pretty sure you have to pay and get it done privately. On another note with your history maybe you should speak to your GP and see if they can have it tested prior to referring you for IVF.
Hi Mlove. That sounds like a good reason to check it out, so mention it to your specialist. I don't think it will be available on the NHS, but you need to ask. Good luck! Diane
