I am panicking a bit. I am doing my trigger tomorrow but my house is a sauna - with all these heat waves it has been impossible to keep the medication below 25 degrees - more like 29 degrees.
I am now worried it won’t work - does the heat impact medication that much? Any experiences? I don’t really have time to get new meds, but worried the trigger won’t work due to heat exposure.
Thanks so much xx

I’m sure it’ll be fine, as long as you’ve kept them in a dark place they should be cool enough. Most medications say 25 degrees but people take them in hot countries all the time without special storage so they can’t just die at 26!
Interestingly, I read something that said the fridge can actually be damaging to medications that are meant to be kept at RT as it’s too cold. What a minefield it all is!
I think our trigger was one for the fridge so I can’t comment but I was really worried about my pesseries. Most chemists don’t store their meds in a temp controlled environment and the issue from my limited panic googling is that they degrade if left in the heat over time. I decided I could only keep them as cool as I could and that a few days of hot wouldn’t do much. I tried keeping a thermometer in the box and I tried ice packs in the box when it was very hot outside. Best of luck for your cycle!
I rang the pharmacy and they said do not store rt meds in the fridge as someone said the quality might change - store in a dark place and they will be ok! My trigger though was also fridge
