soreness after egg collection

I had my egg retrieval yesterday morning, got 5 eggs, with low AMH I was quite pleased with that!

Pain wise, was absolutely fine yesterday but tonight I’m feeling quite sore, quite strong period pain feeling and not feeling comfortable.

Did anyone else have this?

Got transfer on Saturday and just don’t want anything to delay it etc!

Hey hun pain and soreness is very common after EC and it should get better in a couple of days. I had 3 EC and after each one of them I felt pain when sitting down and standing up, while walking. If you are still concerned after a day or so, speak to the clinic and see what they say. But otherwise plenty of rest, lots and lots of fluids and foods rich in protein.

With my first EC was the worst. I had 30+ follicles and they've got 4 eggs and for 3-4 days I was feeling like hit by a lorry 🙈 🤗

All good here, getting ready for my transfer in September and I CAN'T WAIT 🤗🤗🤗

Hi Mlove. Your ovaries are probably still a little active, so drink at least 3L water daily and keep an eye on your urine output - plenty of it and a pale colour. Be careful not to get constipated, as poo passing sore ovaries can "ouch"! Hope all soon settles down and good luck! Diane
