never had a bfp,can immune protocol be the last chance for me

in 3 years trying to conceive, I never had a bfp,2 IUI ,4 failed transfer , the last transfer I was in down regulation using decapeptyl 3.75 for 3 months,I told my doctor if I can take steroids he said no.

I have 3 day 5 blastocystes waiting but I'm afraid , afraid that this will never work, not even a chemical 🥲 . Now even the immunity protocol scares me as if this too does not work I don't know how I could continue.

anyone else never had a bfp and it worked out finally when starting an immunity protocol for fet ?

Hi lovely,I’m sorry to hear about your BFN.

I had 5 transfers - all negative without even a hint of a positive.

Then got our 6th transfer I had intralipids and prednisolone and it worked. Had our first and only BFP, and my 4 month old is currently asleep next door.

I am convinced that it was the steroids that did the trick. My next step if that hasn’t worked for IVIG or maybe LIT therapy as, like you I was so anxious about it not working.

Xx

Same for me. 2 iuis, 4 transfers all bfn and on my 5th transfer after steroids and intralipid I had my first ever bfp after 5 years of ttc.My precious little daughter is right next to me as I'm writing this. Good luck!!

Thank you girls I will advocate for myself this time, even of he refuses to do the tests I will ask for steroids and intralipids, I've read that low doses of steroids will not harm tlyou so why not give it a shot

Can you get an opinion from another doctor?

We’d been trying 5 years, 2 years of ICSI and only one very light BFP on 11dp5dt which turned out to be a chemical until this time.

I’m on prednisolone & clexane and have finally got my BFP. Still early days, but this is the first proper positive I’ve ever had!

Did you get tested for immune problems or just switch to this protocol?

We just switched. I could have been tested, but this would have been the outcome anyway

I think steroids did the trick in my case as well - please check the post on my wall. Good luck!🍀

I just saw your profil this is amazing 👏, sometimes I think also about embryos quality but I'm 33 and from 5 eggs retrieved I got 4 day 5 blastocystes and the doctor said they look healthy, it's so frustrating to give this much effort and not getting the results you wish for.
