Update: Time for a frosty baby!

2 weeks ago I wrote to let you all know that I am back on the journey. I had my baseline scan just over a week ago and today had a scan to check if my womb lining is thick enough. It’s not quite where it needs to be yet so back in next week. Scheduled for my transfer WC: 22nd Aug. Anyone around the same time as me?

All fingers crossed things fall into place for the transfer very soon! I've heard it suggested that pomegranate juice might help for lining, haven't tried it myself though.

I'm a little annoyed because I had done my research and it said anything over 8mm is perfection. So I asked when I got in there what she is ideally looking for and she said 8mm or more ideally so then when she started measuring I could see 8.2, 8.7, 8.1, and she just kept measuring and moving position until she got a reading of 7.7mm and then said 'I think you will benefit from another week because we aren't quite there yet'...It is as if she was looking for a thinner reading so she could turn me away. But either way, Im remaining optimistic.

That is frustrating...even with 7.7 that is so ridiculously close to 8 but hopefully they are delaying with the best intentions of maximising that lining to improve chances. Wishing you lots of luck with it xx
