First day of menopur

Hi all today I took my first Injection of menopur and just wondered if anyone else was on the same and when did they start feeling affects and if so what affects did you have just being curious not sure what to expect as first round of ivf treatment

Heya. Good luck ☺️ I’ve used menopur on all my fresh cycles, and generally didn’t feel much for the first week or so, then started feeling a bit bloated and ‘busy’ or heavy in the abdominal area. Nothing too dramatic. But I was quite lucky with very few side effects, I know many struggle more on these strong hormones. Hope all goes well for you 💪🤞

Hey, thank you im feeling tired more than usual today but not sure if thats just mind over matter we are doing a frozen procedure due to me getting ohss so need to give my body a rest after but so far so good 👍 😊

Hey, best of luck with your round. I am just finished Menopur and waiting transfer on Monday. This was my second round but first with Menopur and I found minimal side effects. I had two random days when I was really tired but I think I had just been over doing it and apart from a bit of bloating coming up to the end of stims, I was pretty much fine. 😊

Hi, yeah I think I've over done it with walking today so bit tired but nothing major so far so good hope your transfer goes well 😊

Almost coming to the end of Menopur on my 4th cycle.

I don’t generally get many side effects but this cycle I was super tired, could fall asleep as soon as I got home from work and the usual period style heaviness/cramps which get stronger as the days go on but still wouldn’t class it as uncomfortable or anything.

Hi, yeah I feel bit tired but nothing major going on so far just dreading tomorrow as I have work so have a feeling its gonna wipe me out a bit but fingers crossed I will be fine 🙂 good luck with your journey 😊

Menopur has never made me tired, I think a lot of it is we expect side effects and often there aren't any! The main thing I found was as my ovaries grew I had a bit of twitching and stretching there, but compared to the many other drugs I've taken I think it was my fave as very low maintenance! I never had any side effects from Menopur apart from feeling bloating and a feeling of fullness in the lower abdominal area after first week or so due to ovaries growing. All the best x

Hey, I'm ok starting my second injections today so bit anxious and feeling bloated and heavy keep getting hot flushes aswell not sure if thats the medication or just me 🥴 had scan today foliccles are growing nicely which is good and could be doing egg collection next week its been a very quick process for me to be fair so cant complain hows everyone doing x
