Hi ladies,

I am 41 years, finally got only 2 blast with grade 2AA and 2AB which is frozen on day5 (today). Wondering anyone here with same grade? should I consider chrosomal abormalities test for them? Have an appointment tomorrow, what all should I check with the doctor? what is the pregenancy success rate with the grade?

Have also 3 embryo(8-10cells) which are not growing beyond day3 and 1 embryo which is still on compact state on day 5. Not sure what the clinic will do with those? any recomemdation what should I ask, here?

I not sure whether this is a good number or not? Have met someone who got 6 embryos of gradeA but unfortunately had failed cyle last time. I am very nervous, so much uncertainity.

This is my first IVF, any information would really help me.

AA and AB are excellent. I had some 2s on my last cycle and they expanded from 2s to 4/5s on the day of transfer.

They say that statistically you might expect 30-50% to make it to blast after fertilisation.

The stats on grades are various, the grades can change and there's too many other factors to account for. Main thing is that this is a good outcome and gives you a good chance. Xx

Ask the doctor all the issues you mentioned in your post - he should be able to give you some answers and put your mind at easeThinking of you
