I just wanted to share a success story for my poor grade 5cc embryo after 2 ivf/icsi cycles all I had was 1 embryo that made it to day 5. It was given the poorest grade not usually given much hope of making it, so we wernt hopefull. How wrong was I. Currently 17 weeks pregnant with my 5cc on board.
Just want to let other ladies hear some positive outcomes if you have poor grades don't give up hope. I had a total of 27 eggs collected only 5 to fertilize and 1 to make blastocyst and get poor viability grade. My odds didn't look great Yet for me that was all I needed.
Stay positive and don't give up on those poor grade embryos they could just be your little miracle. Lots of love and luck to you all.xx

This is fantastic! I'm so happy for you. You defied the odds! Great job, honey. I'm so happy this happened. It gives me a lot of hope for my own procedure. You're an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your story!
We only had 1 cycle and luckily it was successful. We had 10 eggs retrieved, only 5 fertilised and only 1 made it to day 3 so we didn’t wait to day 5 for transfer. I’m now 21+5 weeks with our little guy.
Don’t be disheartened if it’s not the best grading, it can still happen.
Good luck to you all and keep positive and relax (if you can) x
This is a rollercoaster. Anyway it's impossible to predict how the treatment will go. Whilst our DE ivf cycle#1 they transferred 1 grade 4AA embryo which never made home - nasty BFN. Whilst IVF#2 they transferred 2 4BB and we got our first BFP on 6dp5dt after home cheapie taken. Sometimes less desired embryo grades make perfect. And those we really count on - not. I'm wishing you the best of luck and soon success with your treatments xx
That’s great news. Do you mind me asking how old you were when you did the egg retrieval? I have 5 day 5 blastocysts frozen and was not able to test them. I was 40 when I did the egg retrieval.
