Hi ladies thanks for the love so broken so that's the fourth one out now. It's so hard for all of us ladies trying. Gonna take a 2 ro 3 month break.

Anyone had a ecotopic miscarriage? What should I expect?

So sorry to hear this. Although they are saying let this happen naturally if you get any sharp pains or pains up you / shoulder pain, go to a&e. Not to scare you but it’s best to be safe I’ve had 4 so know all the signs so please feel free to message if you have any questions xx

I am so sorry to hear this my love. It is so cruel! Especially as it tried implanting, just in the wrong place!

Take care and take it easy. Let the bleed come but if it takes too long, or bleed continues you should contact your GP or if in worse pains (cramps or shoulder tip pain) go to A&E or EPU so they can test your HCG levels and make sure it is resolving and not continuing to grow!

I had 2, one right which resolved on its own but was closely monitored by EPU every 3-4 days to check HCG levels were going down. 2nd one was my left tube and kept on going up slowly in HCG levels and once reached 2000 decided to have my tube removed as not resolving and couldn’t have injection to help it. So def keep checking and once bleeding is over, do a pregnancy test perhaps to see if the line is becoming fainter. If not ask for repeat bloodtests!

Good luck with the grief and sadness hun! ❤️

Thinking of you. I had a conventional miscarriage and ectopic at the same time and it was awful, totally understand how you feel. You'll get through it, you're stronger than you think xx

Sorry to hear that. I had ectopic in January 2022. Luckily I refused surgery I saved my tube. My pain was not that intense i managed to convince the doc I'm not in pain. That happened on Friday ,I think the doc wanted to operate me sane day because she wanted to be free on weekend, later after blood test, she was shocked to see hcg dropping, she said I know my body, I said yes I trust myself. You will bleed but heavier if you bleed. I had to do blood tests every 48 hours to see if hcg is dropping down.

I had pains starting last night back stomach legs taking paracetomol every 4 to 5 hours. Going for blood test this morning just hope it's dropping. Hospital said they do not want to give me any medication as numbers dropping so let it happen naturally which is what I prefer. I am really sorry you also went through this. Its such a draining time for any woman. When you were recovered did you do any tests after to make sure your tube was clear?

in reply toanonmous23

No tests afterwards needed. As far a the hcg is dropping, you will feel better

Sorry to hear you are going through this. I have had an ectopic and it is really hard to cope with both physically and mentally but like others said watch out for an increased level of pain (my pain was really intense and paracetamol and hot water bottle didnt touch it at all) and just get checked as much as you want if you have any concerns as best to be safe. Really hope it resolves naturally for you and best of luck for the future xx

Also ladies not sure but next time whenever if I do treatment. Anyone ever used embryo glue? They say this can maybe help also fpr ecotopic. This is what I plan to do on my next one if and when I get there.

Used it twice and have got pregnant both times with frozen transfer. BFP from fresh transfer no glue but ended in chemical

Fruitandflowers profile image
Fruitandflowers in reply toHollyT7

Same here - two fresh transfers with no glue were both chemicals/early losses, then FET with glue I got a BFP at 3dpt and it was far stronger. It could have just been chance, progesterone or that my body was not ready after collection on the fresh transfers, but just because it worked I'd repeat everything we did on the successful round including the glue (also the clinic said it did no harm and it was included as standard on FETs, so not an extra cost for us). Really sorry for what you're going through anonmous23

anonmous23 in reply toFruitandflowers

That's what I am thinking sure do any harm so next one will use this I think. Xxx

zytajones profile image
zytajones in reply toanonmous23

I used embryo glue on all my 8 transfers (only 1 success + two MCs). I had ectopic pregnancy with my only 1 miracle natural pregnancy.

Forgot to add, my clinic started to routinely add Embryo Glue for free, for the last year. They said they still don't have enough evidence that it helps with an implantation, but it also doesn't do any harm....

anonmous23 in reply tozytajones

Aww wow you been through a long journey.

My clinic use one type of embryo glue as standard and then embryogen (£450) is an option and recommended for people who have had miscarriages but didn’t make any difference!! xx

Hi Ladies I started my bleed today from Ecotopic pregnancy.

I just wanted to share if anyone goes in a misscarriage like this or chemical.

I find Ajwain Seeds with some salt and warm water, will clear your system so all gets out and I mean this in the nicest way. I started a couple days ago and finally started my blees which is what I wanted. Feel so deflated still.

Thanks again for all the support ladies I really pray we all get our rainbow 🌈 babies. Love to all. X
