feeling unwell on transfer day 😩

Hi everyone,

I’ve just had my first round of ivf, and transfer day is today on day 3! But I have woken up feeling so unwel 😩 has anyone else had a transfer not feeling very well? Can it affect the transfer? I’m so stressed& worried! I’m hoping the way I feel is weather related and not an actual bug/flu as I have no fever! Xx

I became really unwell the evening after transfer and could barely move off the sofa for 5 days. That was my successful round! Just make sure you do a LFT in case it might be COVID. Hope you feel better xx

Ah really!! I think it’s gastric, I’ve now thrown up 😫. Of all the days I could get ill, it had to be today. Thank you so much xx

You poor thing - plenty of water and some Gaviscon to settle it xx

Might be worth a quick call to the gp to rule out things like UTI’s or anything like that x

Thank you, I think gastric, had pain in upper tummy and just thrown up. Hopefully it was something I ate hasn’t agreeded with me. X

Just take things easy - as previous post says best check in case it is Covid . Make sure staying cool drink plenty of fluids - may also be due to the stress of your 1st cycle + hot weather Hope you feel better soon - if it persists let your clinic know

Thank you Janet. I’ve thrown up now, hopefully it’s just gastric. But yes that could also be a factor, I feel quite run down too and mouth is a little sore. Thanks again. X x
