Hoping to hear from anyone who has experience with Ovaleap. I've just started it for our first IVF cycle (injection #3 tonight) and have had no side effects so far apart from mild nausea immediately afterwards and a mild headache.
Can I count my chickens at this point or do the side effects build up over the 10 days or so as the hormones build up?
I'm on the maximum dose of 450 units so was expecting to feel terrible by now.
Sending lots of luck to anyone else currently undergoing IVF 🍀

I didn’t have the same dose but no side effects from overleap in my last 2 or current Ivf cycle. If pushed I would say by day 10, I felt a bit like I had eaten bread. The only injection I had any reaction to is the one to stop you ovulating I can’t spell. That stings a little for about 5 mins but otherwise nothing. Best of luck!
I was on 375 of ovaleap last year and had no side effects. I was expecting to be all bloated and sore but didn't have anything. I only started bloating when I started the progesterone.
I was on Ovaleap, I can’t remember the dose but I think it was lower than 450. I didn’t notice anything until towards the end (day 9 or 10 probably) I started to feel a bit bloated but that was all. Good luck x
I'm on Day9 of stims with Ovaleap 225 and also don't have any major side effects besides tiredness around noon. On Day7 an ultrasound showed 5 growing follicles of 10mm and several smaller follicles that they didn't even count. Do you think the absence of the usual side effects such as bloating could be due to a smaller amount of actively growing follicles?
I was on 450IU of ovaleap. Apart from lots of cervical mucus I haven't felt anything. Unfortunately for me it was probably because I've not responded well to it. But other ladies seem to have no side effects and it did work for them. Have you used other stim drugs in the past to know if you do get bloated? When I swapped to Menopur I started feeling my ovaries from the 2nd day, but I think everyone is different and my experience may be completely contrary to yours and hopefully you'll have a good results. Good luck.
"other ladies seem to have no side effects and it did work for them" - that's a good point. We shouldn't draw too many conclusions from a few experiences. Good luck to you too x
Indeed, in another thread I just read that more women had no symptoms but retrieved a good amount of oocytes. My follicle count went from 5 on D7 to 6 today on D10 of stims with Ovaleap 225. They are now 16mm (with a few more smaller which they don’t count) and I’m actually starting to feel a bit of discomfort and twinges
