Does anyone get side effects from oestrogen? I’ve got some mild cramps, so panicking it’s period pains as in a random bleed coming, and I’m not sleeping well at all…

I had major migraine and nausea for the first few days then it settled. I was on progynova 10mg a day plus 2x100 mcg patches… I hope you feel better soon x

I was the same as Me_and_Sparkle . Migraine type headache, a bit of nausea and also some bloating but largely it settled down within the first week - on 6mg progynova. I slept but didn't feel rested for the first week or so either. I had crazy, vivid dreams and sometimes woke up in the middle of the night absolutely roasting. So bizarre! Hopefully it settles for you soon x

Yes I have the bloating too! I sleep but wake stupidly early x

I definitely did. Headache, nausea, pulling sensations in pelvis and the like. I do hope they ease off for you

Yes that’s the sensation. They aren’t too bad just making me paranoid cause 3rd transfer was cancelled as I bled a few days before 😢 x

Hi Doodlebug! I'm sorry to hear you've not been feeling well. I feel you! Riding the estrogen dragon was terrible for me. I was definitely bloated, had trouble sleeping, was anxious and irritable. Hated every minute of it. I didn't spot, but my doctor told me not to worry if I did and to drink loads of water to help with the bloating. Sending you sympathy and hugs xxx

Ohhh thankyou! Not pleased to hear you suffered too but nice to know it’s normal! Thinking about it I def have all 4 of those symptoms! When I bled previously it was a proper AF so transfer was cancelled. Tbh that’s all I’m bothered about - getting to transfer. X

Fingers crossed it all gets settled and you can go ahead with your transfer! Xx

Yes it sends me bat shit crazy to the point where I'm experiencing bipolar symptoms.I've nearly beat my landlady up twice. I've picked a gaping hole in my face due to to this and pogesterone.

If i take the pogesterone on its own i start getting psycosis. Ive Had to do advanced trauma therapy because I was so bad .. turns out its this shite .....!!!

I've been told ive been going thru the menopause since I was 27 turns out there's no menopause either. Now 38

They need to do blood test 6 weeks apart to see if you need this and this wasn't done either.

If you notice strange things happening go speak to the doctor.

Oestrogen patches made me have horrendous fluid retention 🤦‍♀️ so I had oral tablets after that which still made me retain fluid but nothing like the patches
